At the top of the village in the Cher department, a rocky promontory overlooks the Aubrac plateau. Perched atop it is a wrought-iron cross bearing symbols of the Passion: a heart and a crown of thorns, as well as a red metal Virgin and Child, reminiscent of the Virgin Mary statue overlooking Le Puy-en-Velay. At the foot of this promontory lies a small, forgotten chapel built of granite, its back wall uniquely integrated with the rock against which it is built.
