"SI JE NE PEUX PAS DANSER, JE NE VEUX PAS PRENDRE PART À VOTRE RÉVOLUTION"

“If I can’t dance, I don’t want to take part in your revolution”: Margaux Fontaine borrows the words of the thinker Emma Goldman for this exhibition, which features large drapes of vintage sheets dyed with plant-based dyes and sculptural butterflies waiting to be brought to life.
Her work revives the ancestral wisdom linked to an understanding of the Earth, its rhythms and its secrets.
The gestures of the gardener, the forager and the botanist are overlaid with those of the artist.
In her works, plant motifs intertwine with various symbols drawn from myths, fairy tales and popular culture, forming a tapestry of signs to be interpreted through layers and correspondences.
The exhibition will run from Saturday 20 March to Wednesday 28 April.

Guided tours led by an art educator will take place on Wednesday 24 March at 3.30 pm, Saturday 3 April at 11.30 am and Saturday 17 April at 3.30 pm.
These tours are free of charge.
