MINI STAGE : LE FEU

Over two full days, through hands-on and artistic activities, children (aged 6–12) will become familiar with fire, its myths and its ancient history. By spending time with fire, they will get to know it better and perhaps even begin to connect with their own history.
On the programme:
– A grand narrative on the arrival of fire in human societies
– Workshop: learn to light a fire using ancient techniques: fire by percussion and fire by friction
– Make your own charcoal by burning wood
– Learn to draw natural elements with charcoal
– Shape a spoon or a small bowl using fire
– Discover aetiological tales about fire
– Prepare and cook your afternoon snack over a wood fire, then tuck in!
