From a very young age, he has always loved being in contact with nature. In the 1980s, he discovered trial motorcycling, an outdoor sport that would occupy his free time for over 40 years—a true passion. When this physically demanding sport became too difficult for him, he discovered a calmer but equally captivating hobby: photography. Laurent started with a smartphone, taking landscape photos, but the sheer variety of wildlife he witnessed quickly motivated him to invest in a camera. The arrival of new generations of hybrid cameras offers even more pleasure in capturing the moments that nature provides. "Emotions Behind the Lens." Laurent Salgues presents his first wildlife exhibition, featuring a diverse range of mammals and birds, all from Lozère. Wildlife photography requires a lot of time spent scouting for the presence of animals and birds. There are also the hours spent waiting in hides, sometimes resulting in unforgettable memories to observe and photograph.
